The Adventures of Rose and Indy

My dogs give me life! They help me more than anyone will ever know and I love them so much! I can't wait to share their silly adventures with you. This page is where I will keep a list of all the strange and wonderful things that they do.

Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the updates on their adventures! I hope they entertain you as much as they entertain me.

First, here is an introduction to the pups.

 Rose:

is my roommate's dog so I call myself her Auntie. Rose is an ESA or Emotional Support Animal who works very hard. She helps her Mommy with her anxiety, and most of all, she is her cancer dog. Rose can detect cancer and has done this at least twice. She takes her job very seriously and will at times, not let anyone near her Mama when she knows that she is in pain. Rose is also crazy! I always say there is a whole lot of crazy packed into that 8 pound dog! Rose will turn 3 on Christmas day this year!

Indy:

is my heart! He came to me when he was 4 months old. He was all ears, and paws! He lived with me and his big sister, Poe until she died a few years ago. They were an inseparable team and Poe is sadly missed every day. I truly believe that if it weren't for Rose, Indy would have been a lot worse off. Even though they have a very different relationship, she has become his friend. I often ask myself what I have done to deserve someone as wonderful, loving, and selfless and pure as my Indy. He is like my child, and my worst fear is when he leaves this world. For those who know him, he is a big puppy, although very protective! He walks around this Earth in a puppy world filled with happiness, rainbows, and unicorns. He isn't the brightest crayon, but his love is deep and he is loyally fierce. He almost laid down his life twice to protect me from an attacker, and got badly hurt in the process. I nursed him back to health and our bond is unbreakable. I look at him sitting by me know and I feel so lucky that he chose me to be his person. He is 9 years old but still thinks of himself as a baby, and that is fine with me!

So, in nutshell, my dogs are funny!! This page will be dedicated to them and their funny misadventures and things that they have done that make me laugh, or make me crazy! Keep checking back for new adventures!

Today, Indy walked across my keyboard and typed [ into my Facebook post. I wonder what he meant?

Tonight, I made pasta for dinner. Rose stepped in my pasta. Like full paw, right in my pasta! She walked around for several minutes leaving red sauce paw prints everywhere until she finally realized that her paw was leaking yummy goodness. I still ate my pasta.

Me and Rose last night: A true story....

Me: Rose, I don't like walking you on the side of the house where there is no light!
Rose: Lady, I do what I want!
Me: But Rosie, it's so dark and I can't see you. You are so little what if something happens?
Rose: Lady, I'm fine! We go here!
Me: Okay, I don't like this!
(we go over to the darker side of the house, near a bush)
Rose: See, Lady, nothing is wrong here...
(right then, something comes out of the bush and scares Rosie who jumps into my arms)
Me: See....
Rose: Okay, Lady, let's go inside now.
